Missouri is located at the intersection of three main U.S. rivers; the Mississippi, the Missouri, and the Ohio rivers. It is also known as the starting point for the Pony Express, the Santa Fe Trail, and the Oregon Trail. A true sight-to-see in the state is the Saint Louis Arch. This form of structural expressionism is 630 feet tall and was designed by architect Eero Saarinen. Made in stainless steel in an inverted weighted catenary arch, it is Missouri’s tallest building and the world’s tallest arch. It has windows on the observation deck around the apex of the arch for visitors to look out on the Missouri landscape.
Concrete Shoring Engineering – South Liberty Parkway over BNSF Railway and Little Shoal Creek with Emery Sapp & Sons in Liberty, Missouri: design of bridge overhang brackets for the placement of the concrete bridge deck.
