DH Glabe & Associates provides construction and structural engineering services in the Cornhusker State of Nebraska. DH Glabe & Associates services all metro areas throughout Nebraska including Lincoln, Omaha, Bellevue, Grand Island and Kearney.

 

In the downtown area of the state capital, Lincoln, the Nebraska State Capitol Building is better known as the “Tower on the Plains” as it is visible as far away as 30 miles. It was designed by an architect from New York named Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue in 1920 and was the first capitol building to have a functional tower. The limestone building was completed in 1932 and has the large tower surrounded by a lower two-story section.

Concrete Shoring Engineering – Nebraska Department of Roads I-80 Sidney West Project with Jalisco International in Sidney, Nebraska: engineering of multiple concrete shoring designs for the widening of existing and placement of new bridge decks. Work included engineering of bridge overhang brackets, torsional analysis, and supported shoring towers for multiple bridges along the I-80 corridor.

Rigging & Erection Plan Engineering – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers U.S. Stratcom Replacement Facility

Rigging & Erection Plan Engineering – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers U.S. Stratcom Replacement Facility Project at Offutt Air Force Base with Prime Scaffold near Omaha, Nebraska: design and engineering of a modular trolley hoist. Work included designing a temporary hoist that would utilize the existing steel framing to allow workers to lift up to 3,000 LBS per hoist for materials and equipment.
