This includes engineering for commercial, industrial, heavy civil, and Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) projects. DH Glabe & Associates services all metro areas throughout Nebraska including Lincoln, Omaha, Bellevue, Grand Island and Kearney.   In the downtown area of the state capital, Lincoln, the Nebraska State Capitol Building is better known as the “Tower on the Plains” as it is visible as far away as 30 miles. It was designed by an architect from New York named Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue in 1920 and was the first capitol building to have a functional tower. The limestone building was completed in 1932 and has the large tower surrounded by a lower two-story section.
