DH Glabe & Associates services all metro areas throughout the state including Atlanta, Marietta, Columbus, Augusta, Macon, Savannah, and Athens.   Established in 1732, Georgia is often called the Empire State of the South. One of the most architecturally fascinating buildings in Georgia is the state capitol building in Georgetown. Designed by architects Willoughby J. Edbrooke and Franklin Pierce Burnham from Chicago and built in 1889, this structure is designed to resemble the U.S. Capitol Building in D.C. The façade has a four-story entrance supported by Corinthian columns that are on top of large stone piers. Its large gold dome has a statue of Miss Freedom that has been there since the building’s opening.
