Façade Access Engineering – The Bentley Condominiums

Los Angeles, California with Michael Blackman & Associates and DFH Architects: design and engineering of a façade access system for window washing and building maintenance. This included the design of davits and fall protection anchors per Cal-OSHA standards in accordance with the Scaffold Inspection & Testing (SIT) requirements.

Earth Shoring Engineering – The Salvation Army Music Academy

Torrance, California with Consolidated Construction: engineering and design of a secant pile wall for the permanent earth shoring of a building excavation. Design included providing multiple options for retention including H-Pile and lagging.

Davit and Anchor Testing – Fickett Towers

Van Nuys, California with California Commercial Investment Group: load testing of the various façade access equipment located on the building rooftop. This included the load testing of fall protection anchors, davit pedestals and davits per Cal-OSHA, ASME, IWCA and ANSI standards.

Structural Shoring Engineering – Chevron Canal Conduit

Global Safety Co.: Provide engineered shoring towers for the temporary support of conduits through an existing canal. Work included analysis of the conduits and design of the structural shoring.
