DH Glabe & Associates services all areas throughout west Washington including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Eugene.   The most well-known marvel in structural engineering found in the state is the iconic Seattle Space Needle. The Space Needle is an observation tower that was built in 1961 by John Graham & Company and both structural engineers John K. Minasian and Victor Stienbrueck. This 605 foot, six-floored structure has been engineered to endure quakes up to 9.1 in magnitude and winds up to 200 miles per hour in addition to accommodating the two observation decks where thousands of tourists visit every year who come to look over the magnificent Seattle skyline.
