Sacramento, the capital of California, is known as the “City of Trees” as it contains the most trees per capita in the world. One of the most known landmarks in northern California is the Sacramento River Bridge, also known as the Tower Bridge. The Sacramento River Bridge was built in the mid-1930s during the Great Depression. The bridge spans 160 feet high and is the western gateway to the capital city, stretching across a ‘lazy bend’ of the American river.
Rocklin, California with Innovative Refrigeration Systems: provide five-year facility seismic assessment per the Guidance for CalARP Program Seismic Assessments for compliance with the California Accidental Release Prevention Program. Work included on-site visual observation by a professional engineer of all pertinent equipment, analysis of its apparent capability to safely resist the effects of site specific seismic forces, analysis of equipment to conform with minimum 1988 Uniform Building Codes (UBC), and recommendations for structural bracing.
Olympic Valley, California with Destination Hotels: ten-year load testing of the building façade access system. Testing included all davit pedestals, fall protection anchors and davit arms. Testing performed in accordance with Cal-OSHA standards, and per the requirements of SIT (Scaffold Inspection & Testing) certified companies.
Placerville, El Dorado County, California with Safe Rite Platforms: engineering analysis of the proprietary SafeDeck hanging scaffold system. Work included review of the hanging scaffold system dead and live loads to determine reactions where cables attach to the historic one-lane bridge structure, and determination of bracing requirements for platform stability.
Sacramento, California with Blue Diamond Growers and Otto Construction: provide review of existing structure to determine structural shoring requirements and jacking procedure for replacement of roof framing.
