As the Founder & Partner of DH Glabe & Associates and President of Glabe Consulting Services, Inc., David H. Glabe, P.E. provides expert testimony for the legal profession. Spanning a career that began in 1973, Mr. Glabe’s expert testimony focuses on his considerable areas of expertise which provides attorneys with objective analysis and advice. Mr. Glabe’s broad knowledge of the various construction standards coupled with his construction engineering proficiency validates him as one of the most respected consultants in the industry. His knowledge of the OSHA standards encompasses federal and state standards including Cal/OSHA (California), WISHA (Washington State), Michigan OSHA, Massachusetts OSHA and New York OSHA making him an invaluable asset to both defense and plaintiff attorneys. Mr. Glabe utilizes his engineering education and experience to evaluate the circumstances of each case to provide the attorney with a factual, unbiased opinion. His ability to accurately apply the correct standards and codes is an advantage to the client and his ability to provide justifiable engineering solutions is distinctive to his services.

Mr. Glabe has testified in multiple jurisdictions across the country and is recognized nationwide as the authority in scaffolding and temporary structures.
Mr. Glabe is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Nebraska and a licensed Structural Engineer in Utah. He is a 1973 graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is actively involved in the Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) and is the SAIA Regulatory Liaison in addition to being one of the writers for the SAIA scaffolder training program. He serves as the SAIA representative on the ANSI A10.8 committee. Mr. Glabe is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Professional Engineers in Construction. He is a co-holder of patents on a high rise evacuation system and shoring equipment.
